I was stiff and sore when I woke up this morning! That’s what I get for giving up running for over 5 months. Fortunately, we spent most of the day in the car going on a road trip. We went to Globe, Arizona and then out to the Salt River Canyon. The road to Globe travels through Devil’s Canyon, which has a many interesting rock formations. In Globe we stopped to see the Besh-Ba-Gowah (Apache for metal camp) ruins, inhabited in the 13th and 14th centuries. The Salt River Canyon was like a mini-Grand Canyon, with a 2000 foot deep valley. Sean was a little fussy on the drive back, but other than that, we all had a good time.
