June 16, 2001 on 10:24 pm | In Main |We had a nice chicken barbecue meal tonight. If I turn on the misters on the porch, it’s actually quite pleasant outside doing the grilling, even though the temperature is well over 100 degrees.
I installed the new UPS I got from my parents for a birthday present. I installed the old one on Cortney’s computer. The main feature I needed for a UPS that I didn’t have on the old one was four outlets on the battery — one for the computer, monitor, broadband modem, and one for the antenna power (Sprint wireless broadband). The new setup is great. If we have a brief power outage, both Cortney and I can continue to use our computers and also use the broadband internet connection. Thanks Mom and Dad!
We took Sean to see Winnie the Pooh at Barnes&Noble this morning. Here is a picture of Cortney and Sean posing with Pooh:
Sean must be growing; it seems like just a few weeks ago I was thinking that it would be awhile before I would have to worry about Sean pressing the buttons on the TV. Yesterday, I found out not only can he reach the buttons, he now knows he can make things happen by pressing them.
