June 23, 2001 on 9:57 pm | In Main |Sean is 16 months old. Actually, he was 16 months old yesterday, but I forgot to mention it in the journal entry. Today, we all went to the Paradise Valley Mall. Paradise Valley is where many hollywood stars built mansions in the 1960’s. It remains a fairly exclusive area, so the mall is more upscale than the one near our house. We bought Sean his first pair of real shoes. Real, as in real expensive. He is just starting to learn to walk, so we didn’t want any shoes that might harm his physical development. His foot size is 5 1/2 (toddler); we bought him a size 6 to allow room for his foot growth. After the shopping, we went to dinner at the Red Lobster, which is one of Cortney’s favorite restaurants. When we came home, we all went into the pool to relax. Overall, it was a good day.
