We took Sean to baby time at the library tonight. He loves the songs, but has a tough time sitting still for the stories. An interesting thing happened while we were waiting for baby time to begin. They have a small play area in the children’s section of the library, which includes a wooden toy train set up on a table. When we arrived, there was a boy at least a year older than Sean already playing with the trains. When Sean went over to the train table, the boy actually claimed that Sean hit him, and started crying when Sean reached for one of the train pieces. Fortunately for me, the boy’s mom was on to this behavior. I even think she was a little embarrased. Sean wasn’t phased one bit.
