September 28, 2001 on 9:42 pm | In Main |Today ends a busy week at work. I’m looking forward to relaxing this weekend.
Whose war is this? Is a surprisingly balanced article by Pat Buchanan. I’m worried that if we strike hard enough to act as an effective deterrent to terrorism, we may inflame enough Muslims to start a true world war. What I don’t like to see being done today is legislation that removes our civil liberties without a declaration of war. I’m sick of all the opinions saying we need to ban encryption. We can’t intercept terrorist messages without the ability of terrorists to intercept our messages, including our financial transitions. One thing is for sure — we live in interesting times.
