April 27, 2002 on 10:18 pm | In Main |Sean and I went to the park again this evening. Unfortunately, this evening didn’t turn out so well. Sean fell off the ladder on the playground equipment, hitting the back of his head on the way down. I reassured him for about five minutes or so, then tried to see if he wanted to play some more. He was sill crying, and ended up falling down into the sand. He went to rub his eyes, and covered his entire face with sand wetted by his tears. I tried to clean his face with water from the drinking fountain. Sean was still upset by all of this, so I had to carry him the entire way home. After we came home, Cortney gave Sean a bath to clean him up. Sean had a little bump on the back of his head. We tried to ice it down, but he didn’t want to have anything to do with the ice pack. Other than that, Sean had his normal evening routine, so I think he will be fine.
