June 28, 2002 on 10:27 pm | In Main |Sean and I both got a haircut this evening. Sean did well. He was fine until he started getting hair all over his face. Then he started crying, and everytime he rubbed his face to try to get the hair off, he ended up putting more hair back on. At least he sat still to allow the hairdresser to finish. When we got home, the plan was to immediately jump into the pool to wash the hair off of both of us. After I put on Sean’s bathing suit, he immediately pointed to his bathing suit and babbled one of his phrases. I didn’t recognize at the time what he was telling me, but as he started to urinate onto the tile floor, I realized he was telling me he had to go to the bathroom. This is an important milestone, and now we can think about starting potty training.
