August 27, 2002 on 8:30 pm | In Main |More home repair woes. I tried fixing the broken shower door handle with super glue. The outside handle broke off on the inside, just past the end of the screw threads, so I couldn’t just screw it back in. The bottle of glue was poorly designed. I had to hold the broken piece in one hand and put the glue on with the other hand. I had to apply the glue horizontly onto the part, and when I squeezed the bottle, too much came out. I ended up dribbling the glue over my fingers, as well as getting a few drops on the bath mat and a drop on the outside of the door. It took me 20 minutes of scraping with I knife just to remove most of the glue off my fingers.
