Interesting news that the D.C. area sniper, actually two people, were arrested today. It’s possible that these two were not responsible for the killings, but the evidence doesn’t look that way. I’m surpised the newspapers aren’t saying it, but it clearly indicates that this is a case of terrorism. It’s possible that this terrorism is not linked to Al Qaeda, but it is still terrorism. Assuming these two are responsible, it does indicate to me that our real enemy isn’t Iraq or Al Qaeda, but Islamic fundamentalism.
