April 26, 2003 on 9:19 pm | In Main |We went to a ghost town, a former mining camp today. We toured an underground mine, and took a ride on a narrow gauge railroad. Ethan was a little fussy during the mine tour, but otherwise had a good time. Sean had fun just running around the camp. He kept running up and down the wooden stairs and walkways. The only thing Sean didn’t like was the steam whistle. It was loud enough to make me jump, so I could see why Sean was upset. Sean even wanted to sit in the car seat for comfort from the whistle, and he normally hates the car seat. Here’s a picture of me and the kids checking out the shadier part of the camp (click on picture to see the full-sized image):
