April 27, 2003 on 9:12 pm | In Main |Today was spent doing numerous small chores. One thing that I did do differently from the weekend routine was to take a dip in the swimming pool. The pool thermometer read 73 degrees, which seemed warm enough after working up a sweat doing some yardwork. I was in for an unpleasant suprise when I found out the temperature more than a foot from the surface was quite a bit cooler. I didn’t stay in long. Oh well. There will be plenty of opportunities to use the pool when the weather heats up a bit more.
