For the first time ever, I was hit by a computer virus. Actually, it was a worm, the Welchia worm. Was I careless? Did I open an email attachement? No. All I did was to log onto my company’s network, using a VPN connection. I’m hopping mad about it too. In addition to losing the internet for the weekend, it took me over an hour and a half to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
