August 29, 2003 on 7:52 pm | In Main |We finally closed on our refinancing loan today. This was after three months of loan processing and a second closing attempt. In the end, we got a great deal. A 4.625 interest rate on a fifteen year loan. The loan service was through work, and all lender originated closing costs were paid for. So, we just payed the title insurance, and fees to the title company to close, for a little over $800 out of pocket. We now have a mortgage payment about the same amount as before, but we have a fifteen year loan, not a thirty year loan.
