November 19, 2003 on 8:26 pm | In Main |It was a nice day today, so I took Sean and Ethan to the park. Since we had been going to soccer practice on Wednesday nights, I took the soccer ball with us, but Sean decided he would rather spend time on the playground than kick the ball around. Sean learned how to get on the monkey bars by himself. On this playground, he can’t reach the first bar with his feet on the platform, so he has to make a small jump to reach the bar. The first few times, I guided Sean, then I followed up by promising to catch Sean if he missed, and then ultimately, Sean was doing it on his own. Ethan had fun as well. He has learned to walk on the sand. He still sits down when his foot steps in a hole, but otherwise he does okay. Sean was on good behavior, and he willingly walked home, which is nice. I hope to go again tomorrow.
