November 29, 2003 on 9:24 pm | In Main |We drove to the Grand Canyon today. It really is spectacular. We also took a short walk along the rim trail, which is nice even without the Grand Canyon views. Of course, I took plenty of pictures, even to the point of annoying Cortney. Here are some examples (our friend Laura took the first one): (click on the pictures to see the full-sized image)
We survived the long trip with our new toy — a portable DVD player. We heard no complaints from Sean; he enjoyed watching the movies during the drive. Ethan did not care much for Sean’s movies, but he was well behaved anyway. It’s a shame the kids weren’t old enough to appreciate the Grand Canyon. Of course, there’s no reason why we can’t go back when they are older.
