November 30, 2003 on 8:14 pm | In Main |After a long trip like we made yesterday, we pretty much took it easy today. It was a nice sunny day, so I took Sean and Ethan to the park. Ethan has found a new way to go down the slide. He holds on to the vertical bar at the top of the slide, lowering his body down the slide. Then he lets go, going down on his side, smoothly landing at the bottom. Sean had fun running around and following another boy. Speaking of Ethan, he made his first noticeable attempt at saying a word today. I was petting Zip, and Ethan walked over and said “caa, caa”. He clearly was trying to say “cat”.
