Between Cortney and her mom, they managed to leave some gifts for me unwrapped, so they never found their way under the Christmas tree. Understandable, with all of the wrapped presents we had for the kids. Anyway, I was opening presents today. After opening them (and they were nice gifts, by the way), I asked if there were any more presents left to be opened. Sean jumped up and said “yes, there are more upstairs”. I said in return, “show me where”. Sean then proceeded to march upstairs with confidence. He then walked into his room and pointed to some imaginary spots where he said the presents were. I said “they aren’t any more presents, are there?”. Sean replied “no, daddy”.
