A Night at the Park
January 29, 2004 on 7:12 pm | In Main |Despite not feeling much better, I took Sean and Ethan to the park this evening. I was glad we did, because we all had a good time. I taught Sean had to draw the letter “S” in the sand. Just a few more letters, and he will be able to write his name. Ethan had fun going back and forth and the toddler playset. When it was time to go, I came up with a novel way to convince Sean it was time to go. I was telling Sean that we were going home soon. Ethan apparently understood the word “home”, and walked over to the stroller, and indicated he wanted to get in. I then told Sean that if he did not get in the stroller now, that Ethan would take the front seat, which is Sean’s favorite. Sean than ran over and climbed into the stroller. He had no complaints about going home.
