Ethan Wants Independence
August 25, 2004 on 8:31 pm | In Main |I had a hard time with Ethan this evening during dinner. He absolutely refused for me to feed him. He wanted to put the food in his mouth himself. The hard part was when Ethan was having trouble putting the food in his mouth, frustrating even himself. The good news is that Ethan is becoming very proficient with the fork and spoon. I’m surpised at how demanding he is, and at the same time I’m amazed how quick a learner he is, all at 22 months. I’m also leary about letting Ethan get his way all of the time. But it’s hard when he is so insistent, and I can’t fault him for wanting to try on his own.
