Ethan Flirts with the Girls at Burger King
September 3, 2004 on 11:13 pm | In Main | No CommentsThis evening included the standard trip to the Burger King play area. I caught Ethan flirting with not one, but two pairs of girls. The first time was while we were eating, and Ethan was looking at two sisters through the glass at the play area. I guess his smile was infectious, since they were eagerly smiling back. The second time was with another pair of girls in the play area. He walked directly over to them and again performed his smile routine. These girls actually wanted to play with them, but after Ethan slyly caught their attention, He wandered back over to me and sat down with me.
Sean had a tough evening. Right after a successful trip to the bathroom, he tried running through the order area. He caught his head on the bar that divides the order from the pick up area. Ouch. Later, he hit his head on the tube slide. He took a break from playing after each accident, but he had fun the rest of the evening.
I could tell Sean and Ethan were tired, because they were both eager to go home, even though it was early in the evening. Cortney says that they haven’t had much sleep the past few days, and it showed.
Busy Night at the Gym
September 2, 2004 on 9:10 pm | In Main | No CommentsSean’s class at the gym had three other girls, so Sean was well behaved this evning. It was a good thing, since all of the other classes were full, at the gym was very loud. I normally bring a book to read with me, but it was so loud I could not concentrate. At least I was able to watch all of Sean’s exercises.
I like when Sean comes home from gym class. He is always very obedient and polite, and goes to bed without any problems. I guess he feels good and feels relaxed after the class.
A Trip to the Computer Store
September 1, 2004 on 8:58 pm | In Main | No CommentsI took Sean to Fry’s this evening, an electronic and computer mega-store. I needed to pick up some computer components, but Sean and I ended up looking all over the store. Sean was fascinated with some stuffed coyotes that were high up on top of the back wall. What was funny was that Sean reassured me that they were just pretend animals. At the checkout counter, Sean was telling the clerk all about it. The clerk actually hadn’t seen the coyotes, but he did point out some leopards that I had not seen before. It was a fun trip, and I purchased the items I needed at the same time.
