A Trip to the Dairy Farm

January 17, 2005 on 7:56 pm | In Main |

Today, as part of a MOMS event, we all went on a tour of a local diary farm. It turned out to be lots of fun. We fed goats, held chicks, touched a turkey, watched cows get milked, fed carrots to the cows, played with the calves, and went on a hay ride. Sean’s favorite part was climbing and sliding down a big pile of cotton seed. Ethan seemed to enjoy all of the animals. He had no fear of feeding the goats and the cows.

After a tour, we had a picnic lunch, and the farm provided free ice cream. It was worth it for me to take the time from work.
