Burger King

Since we are back to our normal weekly schedule, I took Sean and Ethan to Burger King, to give Cortney a break. Sean and Ethan were both very well behaved, and they were friendly with the other kids playing there. Of course, they had fun as well.

I’m just glad to have made it through the first week of the year. Fighting off a cold has left me tired and rundown. I plan to take it easy this weekend.

A Full Day

I made a full day at work today, and still felt like taking Sean to his gym class. Sean’s class was finally back to full size, including one new girl. This means he doesn’t get to work on the advanced stuff like the cartwheels. Sean still had fun though.

Feeling Better

I stayed home from work again today, but mainly because I had work to do that could best be done from home. I need to develop a tool using Office 2003, and that hasn’t been installed on my work computer.

I did take a brief nap this afternoon, but I’m definitely feeling better. I gave Cortney a deserved break and spent some time with Sean and Ethan this evening. We had a nice dinner together, then watched a Dora video. I also put them both to bed.

Bad Weather, Bad Cold

We had lots of rain today, and even a big thunderstorm late in the afternoon. I stayed home from work today because of a bad cold. I slept most of the day. I certainly hope a feel better tomorrow.

Back to Work

I went back to work today. Sean went back to preschool. Cortney took Ethan to his swim lessons. I took Sean to gym class. Back to the regular schedule.

Getting Ready for the Week

Today was close to a typical Sunday for us, with the exception that I had to get ready for work after a three week vacation. I started the morning with some yard work, and I also took down the Christmas lights. I pretty much relaxed for the rest of the day, allowing some time to get the laundry done and a few other things I need to get ready for work tomorrow.

Wow! I can’t believe 2005 is here already.

Cortney and I had fun at the party last night. Maybe a bit too much fun. I spent a good part of the day recovering.

Corky and Leslie left this morning. I hope they had a good time while they were here, and we will miss them.

Today, Cortney asked me what my new year’s resolutions are. I replied that I really don’t have any. I’ve already started a number of personal improvement projects over the last few months, like dieting and exercise, creating a comfortable home office, and improving my work wardrobe. My only true resolution is to maintain these initiatives.
