Sean’s First Lego Project

March 12, 2005 on 9:50 pm | In Main |

Sean built his first Lego model this morning, an airplane. I don’t think he could have built it without my help, but he put at least 75% of it together, picking up the pieces and putting them together. Sean even made his own custom design modification, making an alternate tail section for the aircraft.

Sean wanted to keep on the Lego theme, so I opened up the Deep-
Sea Predators box, and made a shark, a squid, and an ugly deep-sea fish. Sean was fascinated with the Lego’s, watching me put together every piece. When I was done, he wanted me to help him carry the models up to his room, in order to display them next to the dinosaurs we worked on last weekend.

Cortney was out most of the day at her MOMS club luncheon, so I fed Sean and Ethan lunch, then took them to the park. It was a nice day, but a little hot in the sun. Neither Sean nor Ethan played as much as I expected, probably because it was too warm for them.

We finished the day with dinner out and a brief shopping trip to round out the evening.
