Go Fly a Kite
March 23, 2005 on 7:29 pm | In Main |We had a windy day today, so it was a perfect opportunity to take Sean and Ethan to the park to show them how to fly a kite. I had no problem getting our kite in the air, and I let both Sean and Ethan try to fly it. Ethan let go shortly after I gave him the string spool, so after I chased down the string, he did not get another opportunity. Sean did fairly well, with only a couple of mishaps. The worst was when the kite string got caught in a tree. But with some careful maneuvering, and a lucky gust of wind, I was able to get it free. We had the kite in the air for over an hour total. It was fun.
