A Trip to the Mall
March 25, 2005 on 9:56 pm | In Main |Since I had the day off, and it looked like rain, we made a trip to the mall. We went to the fancier mall at the other side of town, in Chandler.
After the long car ride there, we started off in the play area. For the first time, I realized Sean is now too big for the play area, at least the play area in this mall. He has been over the height limit for some time, but so are many of the other kids that use the play area. The play area in the mall closest to us has some large objects in the play area, so it was not as noticeable. Sean tried to play tag with another boy. It wasn’t his fault, but as he was running around, he was plowing the smaller children over with his larger bulk. I had to tell Sean no tag and no running in order to keep peace in the play area.
Ethan, of course, has no size problem in the play area. His only problem is that he is stubborn, so that if someone is in his way, he has the tendency to push them aside, even if they are larger than he is.
Still, Sean and Ethan still managed to have fun playing, and we all had a good time.
