The Dreaded Grocery Store
June 21, 2005 on 7:24 pm | In Main |Sometimes I just don’t fully appreciate all of the things Cortney does for me. Tonight was one of those times. I was all out of food, and needed to make a trip to the grocery store. I also needed to pick up a prescription, so I had to make a trip to the dreaded Super WalMart.
I had never done a full grocery shopping trip at the WalMart before, so I had to figure out where everything was. In the end, I was able to find everything I needed, and the check out lines were short, so I had no problem.
It was even hotter today than yesterday, with a high of 114 degrees, just one degree shy of the record. My car thermometer was reading 122 degrees, so it was definitely hot on the pavement. We even had some virga. The pool has definitely warmed up to bathwater temperatures.
