A Scorpion Sting
June 24, 2005 on 8:47 pm | In Main |I was stung by a scorpion last night. I was on the sofa reading a book, and I felt something on my elbow. The pain wasn’t too bad, and I didn’t even know for sure I was stung until I started feeling a tingling sensation. Fortunately, it was just a baby scorpion. The whole thing could fit on a dime. The scorpion was pulverized and flushed down the toilet for its efforts.
I could feel some numbness on my arm and some of my fingers, but I had no problem going to sleep last night. I would still hate to be stung by a full-sized adult scorpion.
