A Leisurely Day

I got up early this morning for a run, while it was still cool outside. I ran at a moderate pace. I felt I could have pushed myself harder, but I wanted to take it easy on my calf muscles, since I’m not used to running. It was nice to go right into the swimming pool after I was done.

Even though Cortney and the kids are in Florida, I decided there was no reason I couldn’t do some outdoor grilling. So tonight, I cooked up some hamburgers, enough for a couple of meals. They were quite tasty.

Other than getting some chores done, I just relaxed for most of the rest of the day.
