A Birthday Party

September 25, 2005 on 8:39 pm | In Main |

Today was the first time Sean has spent time with one of his schoolmates outside of school. He was invited to a birthday party, and we all went. Sean had a great time, and I could tell he was comfortable with his friends from school. Ethan played on his own for the most part, and once he found a train table, we had a hard time keeping him away from it.

After the birthday party was starting to wind down, the hosts brought out a water slide. Sean took to it right away, and it wasn’t long before he became an expert at sliding down the slide. Ethan had fun just trying to imitate the older kids. The downside was that we had two wet kids to bring home.

News Update: My parents are now back home in Houston, with no damage to their house.
