Fun in Florida

Today, we made a trip to Sarasota, which is about one hour south of Clearwater. We had a late dinner down there, so I was late getting into the hotel last night, and I’m a bit tired. Dinner was good though. We had seafood again, this time on the water with a great view.

This post comes from Clearwater, Florida. I will be here for the next three days attending a series of business meetings.

The flight here was uneventful. We had dinner at a local place called the Crab Shack, bringing back memories of when I lived in Florida. It will be intersting to see how the rest of this trip goes.

A Busy Day

I was busy today, with yard work, house cleaning, kid watching, a trip to the park, finances, and packing. I will be leaving tomorrow for a business trip to Florida.

Cortney Feeds a Giraffe

Words certainly don’t do this picture justice. I do have to say though, it looks worse than it is. The giraffe was so fast taking the food, it took three tries to get this picture. Cortney really could not feel anything.

Out of Africa Park

Today, we went to the new Out of Africa park. We went to see this while it was located in Phoenix, and it was just recently moved to Verde Valley, about an hour north of here. They did not have as much to see as they did in Phoenix, so we paid a bit much for what we got, but I guess we are paying for the future.

We really enjoyed the safari ride, and had fun feeding the giraffes. Other than that, not many of the animals were out and about. We did see a jaguar, lions and tigers, and one hyena. Sean and Ethan had fun, although Ethan became tired from all of the walking.
