A Good Day
May 18, 2006 on 9:19 pm | In Main |In contrast with yesterday, today was a good day. I got up first thing in the morning prepared to call overseas for my trip arrangements, but I found out in an email everything was taken care of, so I took the extra time to ride the exercise bike.
At work, I got rid of my back log of work items, and had no problem leaving work early to attend the conference at Sean’s school.
It turns out Sean is eligible for additional services. He will get speech therapy, occupational therapy, and even help with his math. For some reason, Sean tested poorly in math, even though I don’t think he will have a problem with math.
After work, I managed to pick up a pair of sunglasses to replace the pair I lost last weekend. It was too late after dinner to take the kids in the pool, but I had a nice swim in the pool myself after cleaning the pool. I wasn’t even upset when I found out that the dirt and leaves at the bottom of the pool were due to my swim goggles being thrown in the pool by the kids, stopping the vacuum cleaner from working.
