London

This post appears on Sunday, but it is first thing Monday morning in London.

I had no problem with the flight across the Atlantic, and I was able to get some sleep on the plane. I braved the London public transportation system and took the Underground (subway) all the way from Heathrow airport to nearby my hotel in downtown London. I actually had more trouble finding the Hotel from the subway station, as streetsigns are fairly rare.

I joined up with some of the people travelling who will be going to Yeovil with me, and took a tour bus of London, driving by Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and other London landmarks. And of course, a couple of pub stops.

I was able to sleep normal hours last night, so I think I have mostly survived the jet lag. We will be driving by rental car to Yeovil later this morning.
