Safe in Florida

June 17, 2006 on 7:40 am | In Main |

We arrived at our destination (Cortney’s parents) just before midnight last night, which was actually earlier than I expected.

Sean and Ethan were well behaved on the plane. The three of us sat together, while Cortney was in her own seat. I did not even have a problem with the two kids until we started our approach into West Palm Beach. At this point the combined excitement of landing in Florida and the tiredness of the two flights kicked in. Still, after the easy time I had up until this point, I had enough patience to make it until we exited the plane.

Our luggage was out by the time we made it to the baggage claim area. Cortney and I were concerned after last year, where our luggage did not make it. We easily made it to the bus to the rental car area, and we dropped off right by the car, which was convenient. And, late at night, we had no traffic.

The kids woke up a bit early, considering when they went to sleep, but they don’t seem tired (at least at the time of this writing).

We went out to breakfast this morning, and we plan to take it easy for the day. First thing tomorrow, morning, we will drive up to Disney World.
